Measure the railing rail stock scope before choosing a package count
Measure level runs that share one rail configuration and separate stairs or systems with different stock. Keep a written sketch or takeoff so each dimension has a physical meaning. Separate zones that use different products, spacing, geometry or installation methods instead of averaging them together. This prevents a precise-looking total from being built on mixed assumptions. Keep the project assumption editable
