Measure the roof underlayment field scope before choosing a package count
Use the same roof surface measurement basis as the roofing field material and separate zones using different membranes. Keep a written sketch or takeoff so each dimension has a physical meaning. Separate zones that use different products, spacing, geometry or installation methods instead of averaging them together. This prevents a precise-looking total from being built on mixed assumptions.
