How to measure this project

Establish the two end-post centerlines for one straight railing run and measure between them. Copy the maximum allowable post spacing from the exact railing system, engineering/project documents or other applicable requirement. If the run changes direction, slopes, transitions to stairs or uses a different rail system, split it and solve each segment separately.
