Measure the wall faces receiving veneer and subtract major openings. Record inside/outside corners and returns because corner systems may be sold separately and can change flat-piece coverage. If the wall contains gables or irregular shapes, calculate those as separate rectangles or triangles and add them before applying the product-specific allowance.
Veneer package coverage can be nominal and may differ between flat pieces and corners. Blend requirements, random pattern, breakage and cut reuse also affect yield. Confirm the selected product’s installation system, substrate preparation and weather-management details separately. This calculator does not determine attachment, lath, flashing or structural support requirements.
