Measure each straight fence segment along the intended fence line and keep gate openings separate. If the fence turns, changes elevation, changes panel system or includes a gate assembly, break the project into sections rather than assuming one continuous module. After the panel/post boundaries are established, measure each site-built clear bay separately for exact picket spacing.
