Project workflow
Build a clean geometry layer before buying materials
Choose the right shape
Use rectangles for rectangular sections, base-and-height for triangles and diameter/radius for true circles. Split irregular projects into simpler measured shapes.
Keep dimensions and units consistent
Measure the finished or actual project dimensions and avoid mixing nominal product dimensions with real site geometry.
Apply material rules afterward
Area, linear footage and volume are measurements. The purchase plan comes later through waste, coverage, depth, yield, density or stock length.
